As a Licensed Psychologist (LP) with almost a decade of experience supporting individuals, groups, and families I am passionate about helping people access their innate resilience. I have specialized training in approaches to heal Complex Trauma and the families and other systems impacted.

I earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy. D.) with a focus on Child and Adolescence from Adler University in Chicago, IL, an APA-accredited institution. Licensed in Colorado (PSY.0004910), I honed my expertise in Trauma-Informed care through hands-on experience in the non-profit sector. This involved delivering Trauma Systems Therapy to families grappling with interpersonal trauma. I collaborated with social services, schools, medical and mental health providers, and community partners. Trained as a Trauma-Informed Yoga Therapist (TIYT), I conducted training sessions and psychotherapy groups for adolescents and adults in this modality within the community mental health setting. My professional journey reflects a commitment to diversity, having served individuals across various rural and urban settings, irrespective of their resource levels. I’ve worked with clients of all ages through individual, group, couples, and family therapy. Additionally, I am a certified parent educator and facilitator of Positive Discipline, offering individual parent coaching and groups.

Have you ever felt truly seen? In those moments, you may notice a sense of peace. You realize that, no matter what you’ve experienced in the past, you are free to choose your path now. Your past no longer controls your present.
You might be wondering if this kind of healing is possible for you. I have seen countless individuals discover new strength and freedom when given the right support. My goal is to provide a warm, welcoming space where you can safely explore your own truth. Here, you’re encouraged to choose a life that aligns with your values.

Resilience is accessible to everyone in a supportive environment. When you understand yourself, you can build relationships with people who empower you to grow. In turn, you can offer encouragement and support to others.

My approach is distinctive because I integrate several evidence-based modalities. These include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems, Trauma-Informed Yoga Therapy, Positive Discipline, Trauma Systems Therapy, and other somatic techniques. By combining these tools, I tailor each session to meet your unique needs, ensuring that your healing journey is both effective and deeply personal.

Together, we’ll work to help you develop a compassionate relationship with yourself. You’ll gain a clearer understanding of your behaviors and emotions. We’ll focus on reducing the power of traumatic memories and strengthening your support network. I invite you to consider your own healing journey and take the next step toward greater peace and empowerment.

Therapy is a collaborative process, and in our work together, you are the expert on your own experiences. I will walk alongside you on your path to healing, utilizing research-supported therapeutic tools.

Given that stress impacts both our minds and bodies, my approach to therapy addresses both. My goal is to help you feel safe in your body and in control of your beliefs and choices. Through Trauma-Informed Yoga and other Somatic approaches, you can learn to understand and calm overwhelming emotions using movement, mindful meditation, and breathwork. Additionally, Internal Family Systems strategies will help you understand the origins of your current thoughts and beliefs, supporting you in becoming the nurturing presence you may not have received earlier in life.
Finally, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy can help reduce the influence of past experiences on your present choices and beliefs. By learning to love our authentic selves, we can more easily choose healthy and loving relationships and learn strategies to communicate our needs and limits effectively.

Your vision will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside: dreams. Who looks inside: awakens.
